Creating The Perfect Sexy Pout

Lips play a vital role in the way a woman represents herself. Almost everything you so throughout the day—from verbal communication and facial expressions to eating and drinking, to kissing and affection. Naturally, almost any girl would admit that she wants—even strives for—a sexy pout? If your lip-related desires are like most, then you’re at the right place! Below you’ll find the tried and true tips that women have been using for ages to create a perfect, sexy pout. Don’t worry, there’s no need to get high-priced, invasive, uncomfortable lip injections because these tips leave your lips looking plump, smooth, and totally kissable!

Dry Brush
Surely, you’ve heard about the benefits of dry brushing your body—right? Well, in the same respects, dry brushing is a great routine for those who are looking for sexy, fuller lips with or without makeup! All you need to do it take a dry, soft bristled toothbrush! Simply brush your lips for a few minutes each morning before applying any product. Also, it’s important to make sure that both your lips and the brush are both dry (that way the practice is most effective). By dry brushing your lips each morning, you will help the skin’s natural shedding process that already took place overnight. Also, this contact gets the blood flowing giving you a naturally plump pout in minutes.

Lip scrub

Sugar Scrub
While dry brushing the lips will provide some exfoliation, there will be times (especially when the seasons are changing) when your lips need a really good scrub! Although, you can give your lips this extra attention as often as you need to, as some women tend to have drier lips for a variety of different reasons. Either way, you’ll want to apply a sugar scrub to your lips a few moments after you’ve gotten out of the shower and dried off. Apply a dab of your favorite store-bought or homemade sugar scrub to your lips and use the pad of your finger to rub the grains in circles. You’ll be able to feel the sugar gathering up the chapped, dead skin. Continue to do so until you no longer notice dry skin lifting. In addition to the exfoliation allowing for better absorption of lip products, the sugar induces an oxygenated reaction, causing your lips to look and feel soft, smooth, and kissable!

You engage in specific exercises for your body and practice strengthen training for your brain, it only seems right that you give your lips a workout, too! That’s right, there are exercises for your lips and—when practiced daily—they’ve been proven to make your pout noticeably and naturally plumped. Check out the exercises below:

  • Join your upper and lower lips and teeth together, then smile as wide as you can without opening your lips. Hold your smile for 15 seconds, then rest. Repeat this exercise 10 times.
  • Squeeze your lips into a kissy shape, hold them like this for 10 seconds, then rest. Repeat this exercise 5 times.
  • Pretend it’s your birthday and you must blow out a sheet cake full of candles (you can even make a few wishes while you’re at it). Once the imaginary flames are all blown out relax for a moment, then repeat this exercise 5 times.
  • Make your best duck face, pressing the lips out and together. Keeping your mouth closed, move the lips from left to right 10 times. Rest, repeat this exercise 5 times.

Wow I never thought of exercising my lips, I just tried all the exercises and while I’m sure I looked ridiculous, I could feel the muscles of my lips (though I’ve never considered them muscles til now) really tensing and I can see how that would be very effective, I do worry about it creating extra wrinkles, I will have to do them in a mirror and see if any of the moves cause wrinkles…thanks for the ideas!

Sugar scrubs are GREAT for lips! My personal favorite tip is to use an old toothbrush and gently brush your lips with it. It softens your lips, and it allows for any lip beauty products to seep in deeper and work better. Thanks for sharing!
